Fun times with my Brother Shaun
The weekend of January 7th my brother Shaun came to see me in Nashville! We had a great time. I took him to the Bonefish and let him experience the infamous pomegranate martini. He said he felt kinda girly drinking it but he agreed that it was a magnificent "party in the mouth." I asked him, "Would I ever lie to you about a drink? I don't think so!!" He also got hooked on mojitos while he was here. I took him to Opryland Hotel, The Country Music Hall of Fame, and downtown. We had dinner at the Hard Rock cafe and we had burgers and they were delicious! We also did some things around the house. He was gracious enough to put up my new ceiling fan, put together some new shelving for me, and recaulk the bathrooms. :) Gotta love my brother!! I also took him to the Union here where he put his name on a list to be called when work comes up. If things go according to plan, maybe Shaun will end up here at some point. It would be great having family here! I also introduced Shaun to the latest greatest hits CD of Sir Elton John of which he is really digging "The Crocodile Rock." I am such a great big sister! Mom and dad have called and said they are hearing a lot of Elton John since he has been back. My ersuasive powers work again.......Yippee!! LOL
